MXML v0.2.1B Patch Notes and Dev Thoughts
MXML » Devlog
Hello everyone!
v0.2.1B is here! Also, I lied (not sorry) and my break has been delayed due to a new wave of issues with MXML (most of which are resolved here)
3/26/2025 v0.2.1B
- Retroactively fixed v0.2.0B not having a version name (oops)
- Added two new playtesters
- Fixed a crash relating to Parry
- Fixed tutorial being broken
- Altered combat selectable behavior
- When selecting a skill on a different construct, any skills with no target will be automatically deselected
- Holding SHIFT will now attempt to swap skills
- This allows you to craft even when theres no space left.
- Certain UI elements now scale with window size
- Constructs in combat now horizontally expand to fit the screen
- The thickness of the combat selecting lines has been increased to remove gaps
- A large prompt has been added to the multiplayer menu making the lack of a player name clearer (hopefully)
- Random theme no longer curses you to silence for all time
- (random theme now actually selects a random theme)
- Added the combo gui button’s function to the tutorial
- Hopefully people are less surprised about it now
Yeah so I lied. I was originally going to work on another project after the most recent MXML update, but because of a playtest between TheFranticFrog and nihilus (thank you two so much), a bunch of useful feedback came in and I wanted to implement it as soon as possible.
The biggest thing in this update is the addition of swapping, along with a bunch of UI updates. If nothing else comes up (lmao), I’ll maybe give that other project another shot.
In the meantime, enjoy!
